Belated Happy Easter

It has been such a busy Easter I don't know where that time has gone! I have found myself with a bonus day off today, teaching placement two starts officially tomorrow now phew!
The Easter holidays were filled by a weekend away in Woolacombe with a friend and her two lovely children, lots and lots and lots of horrid essay writing, some planning for school and a visit to see our family who have just moved to the countryside nearby, they have already managed to expand their pet collection, which now consists of their dog and a variety hens and ducks, soon to be horses *fingers crossed*

Inside The Globe

On Wednesday afternoon we went to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and did some fantastic workshops, lots of ideas to use with the children on my next placement!

I have had the best week! I have been in London with the English Specialists, we went to visit a school in Tower Hamlets which was so inspirational I think people have a preconceived idea of how the schools in Tower Hamlets will be, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I never thought I would want to teach in London, really thinking about it now though.

That was Tuesday... on Wednesday we went to the Tate Modern and did some workshops so we could gather ideas/activities to use with our own classes, it was gorgeous sunny weather the whole time you can see us chilling in the sun on the Southbank, perfect after being so drunk the night before!

I am going home for the weekend to see my lovely mummy. On Mother's Day we are going to Cornwall to spend the day with my Granny, so it will be a double Mother's Day!
